Matki Showering EauZone
Matki released their latest brochure featuring photography of set designs and actual products. Environments were constructed at a film studio and shot over 10 days. As a cost alternative to photo shoots and for the first time, CAD data of products was also used in a variety of scenes and rendered in 3ds Max using photo-realistic techniques.
For the later catalogues photography was completely replaced with CGI and an interactive walkthrough was produced of the main scene using the datasmith fbx exporter, Unreal Studio and the V-Ray plugin. The rendering quality was successfully translated between packages and a PC .EXE was outputted.
