Post Graduate Virtual Tours
Post Graduate Virtual Tours: Creation of interactive virtual tours for the University of Bristol’s library spaces, using the Trimble X9 LiDAR scanner to capture highly accurate spatial data. The raw point clouds were processed and optimised into navigable 3D environments, enabling users to explore the spaces remotely with enhanced interactivity and spatial fidelity. By moving beyond conventional 360° photography, this workflow provided a scalable, browser-accessible solution tailored to the accessibility needs of neurodivergent students, setting a new technical benchmark for inclusive, XR-driven educational tools.
